How the crew works
Every job has a lead who has run many moves and a crew trained on the same wrapping, lifting, and loading standard. Shane runs the crews day to day and is the one to call when a job needs a second opinion before the day.
Crews stay together where possible. People who have worked side by side for months move faster and do not need to shout instructions across a driveway.
Training that starts before the first job
New movers spend their first days learning to pad and wrap furniture, build a tight load in the truck, and use a dolly properly on a ramp. Nobody goes to a customer home until that training is signed off.
Winter handling is part of the training too, since roughly half the year here involves ice, snow, or a truck that needs to warm up before the doors open.
Why we focus on Strathcona County
A lot of moving companies in the Edmonton region treat Sherwood Park and the towns around it as a side trip from the city. We built the business the other way, based here first, so we know the driveways, the buildings, and the roads without needing directions.
That includes the acreages south of Fort Saskatchewan and the gravel lanes that a lot of city based crews are not set up to handle well.
What you can expect
A crew that is on time, respectful of your home, and honest if something is not going to fit through a doorway before they try to force it. If a problem comes up during the day, the lead tells you plainly and works out a solution rather than hoping you do not notice.
We put the scope in writing before your date is confirmed, and if the job changes on the day, we tell you before we load anything extra, not after.
The area we call home
Sherwood Park is where most of our trucks are based, but our week regularly takes us out to Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, Leduc, and the acreages scattered between them. Knowing the roads, the winters, and the buildings in this specific part of Alberta is the whole point of staying local rather than being a branch of a bigger city operation.
That local focus is why an acreage lane south of Fort Saskatchewan or a condo elevator booking in Sherwood Park does not slow us down the way it might a crew that mostly works inside Edmonton itself.
