What a residential move covers
We move houses, condos, townhouses, and apartments across Sherwood Park and the towns around it. A two bedroom condo and a five bedroom house on an acreage lot both get the same walk through before we quote a number.
The walk through is where we count furniture, check stairwells and doorways, and ask about anything unusual, a gun safe, a hot tub, a piano, or a trailer that needs to be hitched up before we leave.
How we protect the house
Door frames get padded and floors get runners before anything is carried. Furniture is wrapped in moving blankets and stretch film, and drawers are taped shut so nothing slides out on a set of stairs.
That level of care carries through to the new address too, where the only sign a crew was there should be your belongings sitting in the correct rooms.

A lot of our residential work is condo buildings and townhouse complexes around Sherwood Park, where parking for the truck and elevator bookings matter as much as the packing. We ask about visitor parking and elevator hours during the estimate, not on move day.

Moving through an Alberta winter
A move in January is not the same job as one in July. We bring ice mats for the ramp and the front steps, keep the truck cab warm, and load heavy furniture first while the crew is fresh.
Anything that should not freeze, electronics, certain paints, plants, rides in a heated part of the truck or in your own car for the short trip.

Every residential job gets a written estimate before your date is locked in. If the scope changes on the day because a garage turns out to be full of tools nobody mentioned, we tell you before we load it, not after.
